We have moved into the maieutics of the cyberspace.
Transmedia Ready est né d'une praticienne transmédia débutante (level 01) avec une longue carrière derrière elle (industrie du cinéma), qui aime bien les théories empiriques et qui rencontre des contributeurs très polis (+1). Paradoxale devinette? C'est ça aussi le transmédia! @TransmediaReady * @KHenthuZiasm
The Years of Web Transparency + Virtuous Google Circles = #Transmedia #NetworkOfNetworks
What matters to my transmedia growth this year: I have been overwhelmed with transmedia ideas, encounters, projects, conferences and workshops. What I was planning, anticipating, visioning for 2012 actually happened in 2011. Not sure we were prepared. There was a 2 months period where I was on a tour and this was the best reward I could get for the work I have done for years. I went twice to some cities and returned to New York as usual. Marseille, Brussels, London, Madrid, Rome, Leipzig, Los Angeles, San Francisco. I have been talking to peers from Asia, Australia, Latin America, and of course, as usual I talk a lot with Canada. I met with the most interested people of the cyberspace, and we have realized a #HUMAN CONVERGENCE. There was a lot of transmedia #FAIRIES and #ALCHIMISTS

Here are some hyperlinks for my storytelling and a best of my experimentations.
The E-MOTION
Because you don’t want to stop a transmedia experience, you want to e-move and e-motion into the next level, phase, story, or just to the text message that will continue the expansion of the social, the epic story or just our own daily story. Working on terminology is extremely interesting. But the language is not sufficient to express what is happening. We are e-moving into the new communication of signs of the #21century. We need a whole new methodology to work in a #NetworkOfNetworks where #Transient Groups are evolving learning from each other and finding #New Business Models using and enhancing any #MEDIAFORMS. We have moved into the maieutics of the cyberspace.
The launch of the 7 Transmedia Families in the real life.
The card game is not a game or a tool only, it is a communication kit that inspires creators and links them together to work collaboratively. It is a creative thinking and design tool that makes you go further with your project, at any stage of your project.
I had 100 decks printed out for the prototype, version 01. I was very surprise to see that some people whom have received it did not share anything, not even a small “thank you Tweet”, mostly the French, the large intellectual egos or people made of marketing only. As for the others they are so happy to get it as a gift. Some are asking to work with it for their research work, others want to buy it and I don’t even have a deck for sale! Some not only understand its value as a creative thinking tool, but they also want to contribute to its development. I had more good surprises than bad ones, after all. Well, I say that to encourage the work in progress.
In order to continue the experience with the 7 Transmedia Families I will be launching a crowdfunding campaign and continue the DIY Your Card project for an online collaborative edition and exhibition (all collaborators are welcome). I have been talking with students, teachers, schools and universities, so hopefully we can come up with a plan to share valuable knowledge within an emerging global community.
I want to thank @FernandoCarrion for bringing me to Madrid where he organized the 1st Transmedia Living Lab and it happened just during the beginning of the #Occupy movement at Plaza Del Sol in Madri last May. And thanks to the Tabakalera Art Centre in San Sebastian for inviting me and letting me turn the masterclass into a workshop. Thank you to Inga von Staden for considering me in coaching a lab too. That is the virtuous circle of HUMAN CONVERGENCE and SPREADABLE KNOWLEGDE.
I believe that transmedia creation is an emergent form of art using several media forms, and that a production (object, event, showcase, game…) can be low and high budget, small and large, simple and complex, online and offline, easy and difficult to make, fiction and documentary, commercial and experimental. I believe that transmedia creation is to the Media what Contemporary Arts are to the Arts. But I was told by a bright woman in charge of a French museum that transmedia might be different than the contemporary arts because in transmedia you cannot cheat. Of course I agree.
Transparency, value and faithfulness as transmedia keys.
Oh yeah, and all the issues with collaborative work and the difficulties one can find in working on very innovative projects. Being misunderstood. Being copied, yes, it is good, but when so called professionals don’t mention the source, it does show how the web can rely on transparency. And I don’t mention the upsetting behaviors and all the bullshitting of the human attitudes at work. We have good and bad surprises. That is normal. But the fact that so many people from different places in the world are actually encouraging with small tips, emails, Tweets, and posts…. Wouah! I saw in 2011 a lot more interesting people online and in real life than expected. Thank you so much to you! Followers, co-workers, unknown fans, students, teachers, creative leaders, mentors, bloggers and event organizers… We are #LearningFromEachOther
Isn’t it just what @Jeff_Gomez means when he says “I am not alone anymore”? See the link here below for his keynote.
For the year to come I need you. I need your insights and your support. We need to fundraise the Transmedia Living Labs for real: “On the Ground” – “Off the Ground” – “Under-Ground” – “In the Clouds”… We need to move forward with a democratic plan for Transmedia Europe. What is the most important? Think? Do? Think & Do? Because while I dream of the Think & Do Tank – which is actually organically happening – I also see clearly how a giant transmedia experience can be sustainable. But I don’t see any project that can reach that level yet. Maybe the ideal is not realistic, as usual.

SPEAK :-> KH Slides (English & French)
From my recent work on Slideshare I am amazed to see that the French version is having so much viewers. There is a NEED in the French language. We need to avoid the common arc formed by a cultural bond: “United-States – UK – Austalia”, and translate more content and information in several languages. We need to ask the French teachers to make the effort to read in English. There is still a lot of confusion about transmedia in France in general and with professionals. It is kind of scary sometimes. We don’t want to redo what we just did for the past 2 years… Moving forward!

The Meetup is also moving. 1 year old. I have introduced the concept and the international community to a lot of newcomers from the fields of Internet, marketing, culture, video, journalism, design… Slideshare.net/transmedia-meetup-paris

Thank you for this amazing resource! What a journey in 2011 to read. I met you briefly at Storyworld and got a Transmedia fairy wand (thank you) and have kept it on my writing desk since. I’m now five chapters in to my first Transmedia novel and it’s just such a rewarding way to uncover one’s creativity and expand story on so many levels. I am moving next year to Europe so happy to hear about your plans for a Transmedia community. Merci for all of your work in Transmedia! All the best for 2012.
Merci Mags, it is really appreciated. I’m glad you got your transmedia fairy wand. Good luck with your novel.
